Getting Started

How To

  Browse Resumes
  • Click on Browse -> Resumes.
  • Select the group you are interested in. For example, if you are looking for an accountant, click Accounting & Finance.
  • Select the category that most suits your requirements.
  • View a summary of all the resumes in that category.
  • Click the resume you want to view in detail.
  • The details for the selected resume will be displayed.
  • Click on Contact this user in the right frame to send a message to the person.
  • You can also refer the person to others by clicking on Recommend to a friend link.
  Browse Company Profiles?
  • Click on Browse -> Open Projects.
  • Select the group you are interested in. For example, if you are looking for a project in the Accounting industry, click Accounting & Finance.
  • Select the category that most suits your skills.
  • View a summary of all open projects in that category.
  • Click the project you want to view in detail.
  • The details for the selected project will be displayed.
  • Click on Contact this user in the right frame to apply for the project. A message will be sent to the owner of the project.
  • You can also refer the project to others by clicking on Recommend to a friend link.
  Browse Open Projects
  • Click on Browse -> Open Projects.
  • Select the group you are interested in. For example, if you are looking for a project in the Accounting industry, click Accounting & Finance.

  Browse Open Jobs
  • Click on Browse -> Open Jobs.
  • Select the group you are interested in. For example, if you are looking for a job in the Accounting industry, click Accounting & Finance.
  • Select the category that most suits your skills.
  • View a summary of all open jobs in that category.
  • Click the job you want to view in detail.
  • The details for the selected job will be displayed.
  • Click on Contact this user in the right frame to apply for the job. A message will be sent to the employer who has posted the job vacancy.
  • You can also refer the job to others by clicking on Recommend to a friend link.
  Search
  Post Your Resume

You can create multiple resumes for yourself in the categories of your choice.

Add Resume

  • Click My Admin -> My Resumes.
  • Click Add New.
  • Type a brief Summary of your skills.
  • Give your General Information. Please note that Rate Per Hour is particularly important. Specify you hourly rate in US$. Choose an alias for yourself, this will be used to identify you to others.
  • Enter your Contact Information. Your contact details are kept confidential and are not given to anyone without your consent.
  • Enter your Work Information, including experience details, salary expectations, etc.
  • Enter your qualifications pertaining to Education.
  • You can paste a plain text resume in Resume / Curriculum Vitae or add any additional information you would like to give about yourself.
  • Select a Group from the drop down menu and checkbox the Categories related to your area of expertise.
  • Click Save Changes when you are finished. Please note that all fields marked with * are required.

Edit Resume

  • Click My Admin -> My Resumes.
  • Click List Items.
  • Click the Edit link in front of the resume you want to make changes to.
  • Make the changes needed.
  • You may attach a Picture of yourself with the resume.
  • Click Save Changes.

Disable Resume

  • Click My Admin -> My Resumes.
  • Click List Items.
  • Click the Disable link in front of the resume you want to disable.
  • The selected resume will be removed from all listings. You can enable it again later on by clicking the Enable link in front of it.
  Post Your Company Profile

You can create multiple profiles for your company in the fields of your interest.

Add Profile

  • Click My Admin -> My Profiles.
  • Click Add New.
  • Give your basic Company Information. Please note that the more information you give about your company, the better are the chances of getting quality responses. In this respect, Summary giving a brief description of your services and Website URL are quite important.
  • Enter the Primary Contact Information for your company. Your contact details are kept confidential and are not given to anyone without your consent.
  • Enter your Company Address.
  • Select a Group from the drop down menu and checkbox the Categories related to your company's area of expertise.
  • Enter any additional information in Optional Information.
  • Click Save Changes when you are finished. Please note that all fields marked with * are required.

Edit Profile

  • Click My Admin -> My Profiles.
  • Click List Items.
  • Click the Edit link in front of the profile you want to make changes to.
  • Make the changes needed.
  • You may attach a Company Logo with the profile.
  • Click Save Changes.

Disable Profile

  • Click My Admin -> My Profiles.
  • Click List Items.
  • Click the Disable link in front of the profile you want to disable.
  • The selected profile will be removed from all listings. You can enable it again later on by clicking the Enable link in front of it.
  Post a Project

You can post unlimited number of projects to outsource. You can also edit the project details later on.

Post New Project

  • Click My Admin -> My Projects.
  • Click Add New.
  • Add Project Details. You must associate it with your relevant resume/profile that matches with the skill area of the project.
  • Select a Group from the drop down menu and checkbox the Categories that your project relates to.
  • Give your Requirements specification.
  • Give Additional Information about the project, e.g., when to release your project ad, till when will the project ad be displayed, when will the project start, what will be the duration of the project, etc.
  • Checkbox the option Use NaukriJunction as your off-shore representative? if you want NaukriJunction team to recommend the best candidate for your project.
  • Click Save Data when you are finished. Please note that all fields marked with * are required.

Edit Posted Project

  • Click My Admin -> My Projects.
  • Click List Items.
  • Click the Edit link in front of the project you want to make changes to.
  • Make the changes needed.
  • Click Save Data.

Cancel Project

  • Click My Admin -> My Projects.
  • Click List Items.
  • Click the Disable link in front of the project you want to disable.
  • The selected project will be removed from all listings. You can enable it again later on by clicking the Enable link in front of it.
  Post a Job

You can post your job vacancies in order to hire personnel. The job details can be edited at any time.

Post New Job

  • Click My Admin -> My Jobs.
  • Click Add New.
  • Enter General Information about the job. You must associate it with your relevant resume/profile that matches with the skill area of the job.
  • Type a brief Summary of the job.
  • Give Details of the job vacancy, including requirements, job description, and any questions you would like to ask the candidates.
  • Select a Group from the drop down menu and checkbox the Categories that your job vacancy pertains to.
  • Click Save Changes when you are finished. Please note that all fields marked with * are required.

Edit Posted Job

  • Click My Admin -> My Jobs.
  • Click List Items.
  • Click the Edit link in front of the job you want to make changes to.
  • Make the changes needed.
  • Click Save Changes.

Cancel Job

  • Click My Admin -> My Jobs.
  • Click List Items.
  • Click the Disable link in front of the job you want to disable.
  • The selected job will be removed from all listings. You can enable it again later on by clicking the Enable link in front of it.

  Check Your Messages

You can send a message to any user by clicking the Contact this user link given along with their resume, profile, project, or job.

Inbox

  • Click My Admin -> My Messages.
  • All your incoming messages will be displayed.
  • Click on any message to read it.
  • Select the checkbox with a message and click Delete to delete the message.
  • Select the checkbox at the top of the messages to Delete All messages together.

New Message

  • Click My Admin -> My Messages.
  • Click the New Message link.
  • Specify the recipient of the message in the To field.
  • Type the Subject of the message. Please keep it clear and relevant, so that the recipient can tell from the subject which job/project is the message related to.
  • Compose your message.
  • Click Send to send the message, Save As Draft to save it for later use, or Cancel to discard.

Sent Items

  • Click My Admin -> My Messages.
  • In the Folders drop down, select Sent Items.
  • Click Go.
  • The messages you have sent to other users will be displayed.
  Change Account Settings
  • Click My Admin -> Account Settings.
  • Change your Login. This is used to identify you for other users. Using a login protects your privacy as it hides your email address from others.
  • Change your Password.
  • Enable/disable your Notifications. By checking these boxes, you will not receive any email notifications of new resumes, company profiles, projects, or jobs.
  Invite a Friend
  • Click My Admin -> Invite a friend.
  • Enter the Name and Email Address of your friend.
  • Type your Message.
  • Click Send Invite.
