Carry out comprehensive research on new technologies in industry

- To carry out comprehensive research on industrial sectors of Pakistan.
- Identify the clusters that require technical assistance and priorities their technological/skill development needs, and propose different initiatives.
- Carry out economic, technology & financial analysis of the targeted sectors.
- Develop and manage technology/skill informational databases and incorporate research on latest technologies/skill set available for important industrial sectors. (using web search, Primary/secondary sources)
- Assist in the formulation of technology upgradation/skill development strategies for prioritized sectors.
- Provide support in the preparation of concept papers, business plans, feasibility studies and different reports for submission to Government of Pakistan.
